About the AMRA survey
The AMRA Survey is funded by the Australian Government Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF).
The survey:
- tests raw milk for agricultural, veterinary and environmental chemical residues
- checks that dairy industry systems are controlling residues effectively
- supports access to international markets by providing assurance about milk safety
Around 1,000 milk samples are collected each year from tankers across Australia.
